How to resolve "The sync rules common projects list must be empty." in the tab for defining filter rules

I want to use the Feature "Server filters" to filter out some of elements that could be synchronized.

However, in all of my connections, I am stuck with the message: "The sync rules common projects list must be empty."

What exactly has to be done to resolve this warning?

There is a list of common projects in the rules section, but there is no way to empty this list.

So what has to be done in my case to make server filter available?

Ok. It is possible to export the connection, delete the project mappings in the xml-file and reimport it to remove existing project mappings in the list common-projects. Than it is possible to add a server filter.

But why is there an easy to find button "Add project mapping" and no button "Delete project mapping" in the UI (see screenshot above)?

Or would it be possible to delete that project mapping in my example if certain conditions are met?
