Not able to establish connection from mf connect to ALM/QC

Hi,

I'm trying to sync jira with ALM/QC, using MF Connect. I've successfully made connection to jira from MF Connect, But when I try to establish connection with ALM/QC getting "Failed to Login to Server" Error. I'm able tp login to the server URL mentioned in the browser with the credentials provided during the configuration.

FYI - installed MF Connect on Windows VM.

we used to access the ALM/QC from the local system by Quality Centre Software(which is not present in VM)

Enter the server name (the FQDN host name) of ALM/QC - not the URL.

If your Jira instance is within your corporate network (like on-prem), then the next likely issue is a network configuration issue - for example a corporate proxy needed for internet access, especially if that proxy requires authentication (which your browser might be pre-configured to do completely automatically).

MF Connect does not need the ALM/QC client software, it uses the REST API, only.

The Issue is due to the SSL Certificate, Install the certificate using the below link and try
admhelp.microfocus.com/.../ssl-install.htm

I've installed the cert, still i'm not able to make connection.

FYI - I've given below details while installing cert, let me know if anything changes needed.

Host: ALM/QC server name i.e almee123.saas.microfocus.com

port : 443

Username/password : credentials used to login mf connect

did you move the cert to the cacerts folder and restarted the connect core again?

i've move the cacert into <MF Connect Install Directory>\jre\lib\security\ path and restarted the connect app

can you check the logs ? is it saying SSL handshake error?
