Is it possible to synchronise deactivated users?

Hello the community,

I'm synchronising entities between Jira board 1 and Octane workspace 1 and then between octane workspace 1 and octane  workspace 2.

In my case I have a category of users who have access only to Jira and Octane workspace 2 but I would like to synch the authors and owners.

Unfortunatley it seems not working because  this category of users is deactivated in the octane workspace 1.

Would it be possible to make the tool capable of seeing the deactivated users and be able to use the user mapping even if the users are deactivated?

Thanks in advance

Guillaume

    Hi Guillaume.

Afaik, this is not possible with the Octane API.
Deactivated Octane users in a workspace are not available sufficiently to be used by MF Connect.

I'll let the team comment as well, in case I'm wrong.

    BR,
    Dom.

we have tools to extract all accessible users from alm/qc, octane, jira & azure devops, and import them into the user maps.

we also support the concept of 'default' users on both sides of a connection, with these tools.

these tools are distributed with the 4.4.2 version of mf connect - with all hotfixes.

the concept of whether a user is active or deactive, however, is a distinction made by the endpoint.

if the end point exposes the user, via rest services, our tools will pick them up. If not, it won;t.

    Hello,

Thanks Dominique and Anil for the feedback.

So I understand that users are not exposed via the rest serivces as long as they are set to deactivated
