Micro Focus is proud to announce the release of Micro Focus UFT One 2022. In this release, UFT One’s Artificial Intelligence continues to advance, expanding the reach of AI and giving you more control. Support for more technology platforms has been added, with WPF on .NET 5 and 6. There are updates on the CI/CD front for Azure DevOps and Jenkins, and public mobile devices are now available through the integration with UFT Mobile 2022.

• Fine-tune object descriptions during inspection

• Test WPF applications on .NET 5 and 6

• Support color-related properties for Text test objects

• Kafka two-way SSL client certificate

Automation Object Model (AOM) enhancements

• Manage application areas and function libraries
• Save multiple modified documents when opening new ones

Mobile testing enhancements

• Access public devices hosted by Micro Focus or Tencent WeTest, through UFT Mobile 2022

CI-CD plugin enhancements

• Jenkins:
  • New property for encryption
  • Support access key authentication for UFT Mobile
  • Specify the UFT Report Timestamp format
  • Configure console Output text encoding at job level
  • Support partial test result reporting

Usability enhancements

• Open solution from Windows explorer
• Improve VDI and Citrix connection stability
• Add connection parameter in batch runner
• Support Multi-tenancy licensing

Technology Updates

• WPF and WPF Extensibility on .NET 5 and .NET 6
• Support the latest browser versions
• Safari on Apple computers with the M1 chip
• Plus many newly certified technologies in the UFT One 2022 Support Matrix.
