the url (like defect url) created with 'Copy URL' functionality of ALM should always direct to ALM Client Launcher (not to browser)

If you copy the defect url from ALM UI with ‘Copy URL’ functionality you will get a defect url starting with tds://
If you paste that defect url directly into Edge browser you will after notification ‘This site is trying to open ALM Client Launcher’ be nicely directed to ALM Client Launcher login page and be able login to ALM and see the defect information.


But if you paste that defect url e.g to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and click it there, only the Edge browser with default landing page will open and no notification/redirection to ALM Client Launcher will happen. Url should always direct you to ALM Client Launcher, because ALM is not anymore used via browser.
