Some Links between projects and Template are lost in ALM 15.5

Hi everyone,

I noticed that dozens of projects have lost their links with the template, and I wonder how this happened? and how can I restore them?.
if someone has already had this problem and has found a solution, please share it.

Thank you for your help.

Please check whether you restore/upgrade projects according to the following user guide:

    Project restore considerations:

    • Before restoring the project, make sure that the database where the project resides exists in the Servers tab in Site Administration on your ALM server. The ALM server needs to access the contents of the restored project from the project's database.
    • When restoring a project, you should select the dbid.xml file located in the project repository. This ensures that the project retains its original ID. If a project does not have its original ID, the following cross project features may not function properly: cross project customization, importing and synchronizing libraries, and cross project graphs.
    • You must first restore and upgrade any template projects before restoring and upgrading other projects. If the template project and its linked projects are in different databases, ensure that the template project’s database is accessible when restoring any linked projects.

    Hi Tina Li,

    Thank you for your reply.

The links lost between the Template and only a few projects (not all) not because of an upgrade.

I don't know the exact cause, are there any logs somewhere?

I would like to restore these links but I don't know how to proceed because I haven't found anywhere a guide or documents that mention this problem
