Branches are control elements in a BPT test, guiding UFT One on how to proceed based on specific conditions. Each branch contains options that define different actions depending on the application's status during runtime. The question is whether a branch can be added within a branch in a BPT test. The answer is that in the ALM Test Plan module, it is not directly possible to add a branch within a branch in a BPT (Business Process Testing) test script.

Situation

In the test flow grid or the canvas, you can select the component or components, group, or flow for which you want to add the branch. If a selected group already contains a branch, you cannot use the selected group in a second branch. Likewise, if the branch already contains a group, the branch cannot be added to the group. The question is whether a branch can be added within a branch?
