Using an MSA Service account for ALM Service

I have been asked-in by a security admin regarding use of a gMSA or MSA (Managed Service Account) for the ALM service, to avoid credentials defined on service-level.

So far I have found no references whether or not it will have any impact on the way the ALM service operates when using MS-SQL Database with Windows Authentication.
Anyone having attempted this - and/or is using this feature? Would it work?

    Hi,

    Let me first try to make sure i fully understand what you're requesting for - are you saying you want to use a gMSA account to start your SQLServer service, and want to see if there's any impact on ALM connecting to SQLServer service?

    This is not officially certified but as i can see there's no constraint on this.
