PR_IS_QPM_AUTO_CALC_ENABLED failed becuase field "Y" is of unsupported field type '-1000'

Hey everyone,

we installed ALM v. 24.1. After logging in, we tried to create a project but received the following message:

Setting parameter for field PR_IS_QPM_AUTO_CALC_ENABLED" failed because of field type 'Y' is of unsupported type '-1000 

I see that this issue has occurred in the past, but no solution provided.

Does anyone have a solution ?

    Hello Henrik,

    Same error might have different root causes.

    Most of the time is missing permissions of the admin user connecting to the Database server.

    Are you by any chance using Oracle DB?

    If so, please check the following article to make sure all permissions were granted.

    Additionally, verify if there is a specific Oracle profile assigned to this user which limits the permissions of the user.

    If so, try assigning the default profile to the user and test again.

    If the issue persists, please raise a support ticket to get proper assistance.
