ALM On Premise vs ALM SaaS Comparision

Dear Peers,

Based on your experience, could you please let me know the advantages and disadvantages of ALM on premise vs ALM SaaS from cost,software,licensing,data, security, API's and other services standpoint.

Currently we are on on premise and considering option to move to SaaS,what will be the differences that will come to play w.r.t to our current ways of activities working if we do this switch.

    The most significant advantage is letting the SaaS team handle all the maintenance work, such as backups, upgrades, compatibility, tickets, etc. The ALM application remains the same except for some administrative tasks the SaaS team performs per ticket you open as a customer. The SaaS perimeter is secured and certified under all possible regulations. The performance is usually even better than in on-premises cases.
