Options

New functionality: Moving features and user stories between workspaces

New functionality has been added to allow the Features and User stories to be moved between workspaces.

I've changed the permissions in the Space as per below

But on features and stories the menu option 'Move to Different Workspace' doesn't appear.

Has anyone else tried this function and am I missing a step?

Les Reid Cross workspaces abilities are available only for Enterprise and VSMQ license types. Copy/Move items to different workspaces is one of such abilities. Regards, Iulia Andreicut

Hi Les Reid Can you please check that you also have create permission for features and stories for the role assigned in the target workspace?

Hi there Iulia Andreicut

Whilst the help pages instruct the user to do as you have suggested - create permissions in both workspaces - the only place I am able to change the permission is in the overarching Space permissions.

In the 'Space' permissions I have these options...

But in the 'Workspace' configuration I only see these options...

Should I expect to see something different in the Workspace configuration?

Is the license type the issue here?

We use Octane Pro rather than Octane Enterprise.

Are there any other Octane Pro users who could check to see if they have the same issue/ limitation in moving or copying items between workspaces?
