Transform manual tests into UFT One (automated) tests

Hello,

I use ValueEdge/ALM Octane and created some manual tests and manual test suites. 

I'd like to transform those manual tests into automated tests using UFT One. 

Is there a documentation/guide which deals with this topic or does anyone already have experience with that?

Is it even possible to transform those tests ("easily") into UFT One or do I need to record every test case with UFT One?

Can I create an automated test definition in UFT One out of a manual test definition?
