ID Sequencing issue in Octane

We understand unique ID of entities are generated and spread across the workspaces within the same space. So, there would be differences in starting number and the number it picks the next time.

However, we are noticing the discrepancy in the sequence within the SAME workspace. For example: In Day 1, there are defects created with ID starting from 1001 to 1010. Then the next Day 2, within the SAME workspace, there are new defects created but the new ID gets generated starting from 901 instead of in an incrementing number after 1010.
