Agent manager on clone VM template

HI All

   Customer ask me he want to create a VMtemplate...and he want to install agent manager first.

but we know agent install need provide agent manager IP/port.

Whether we could clear manager's IP information before create VMtenplate. and generate it , add manager IP after VM boot ?

    The Central Computer host and port get written to the registry of the machine when you install and configure the Agent.  I've not look at this for a while but my notes have the location as:

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NetIQ\Securty Manager\Configurations\<SAM-Zone>\Operations\Consolidators

    Looks like I mistyped the reg path.  Look under the Agent key, there should be a "Consolidators" key which contain entries for "Consolidator 1 Host" and Consolidator 1 Port", which should be set the Central Computer host (NetBIOS name) and port (Usually 8270).

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NetIQ\Securty Manager\Configurations\<SAM-Zone>\Operations\Agent\Consolidators
