Knowledge Document: Does the DAL setting "Password required when entity is created" work in Identity Apps 4.8, 4.9 or 4.10 ?

When the DAL setting "Password required when entity is created" is deselected, the Identity Applications UI will not allow you to create a new user in Identity Applications.

Environment

Identity Manager 4.8.x, 4.9 and 4.10.

Designer for Identity Manager 4.8x, 4.9 and 4.10.
 

Situation

When creating a user with the Identity Applications UI and the DAL setting for "Password required when entity is created" is not selected, you cannot create a user without creating a password.
