That was a very good example of using historical change data to catch what happened. In standard IDM this would be very hard to do, since the protagonist changed stuff back to cover their tracks.
Very nice example, really shows the power of ACDI. Trying to think how I could do this without ACDI...
short answer: you coudn't!
(at least not without a lot of effort and complexity for the data correlation and the overview of the time elapsed)
Also: You don't have to do it without ACDI since it is part of IDM ;-) Everyone who has IDM 4.9, 4.10 or higher has ACDI.
