To perform a direct upgrade to the latest Fortify Software Security Center version, you must have one of the last three versions installed. 

For example, to upgrade to version 22.2.0, you must have version 21.1.x, 21.2.x or 22.1.x installed. 

If you want to upgrade Fortify SSC 18.2 to Fortify 22.2, then you need to

1. upgrade SSC 18.2 to 19.2(direct)

2. upgrade SSC 19.2 to 20.2(direct)

3. upgrade SSC 20.2 to  21.1.x, then to 22.2.0.

Hi ,  I have few more questions on this topic..

1. The minimum version available for download for us is 20.2. The current version we are using is 18.2.. So can we upgrade directly to 20.2  as 20.1 is not available for download for us and then upgrade stepwise?

2. Or can I upgrade directly for version 22 by changing the war file? I heard folks mentioning that if we upgrade directly the application may behave differently.. Is this true? 

3. I took a backup of my 12c database and copied data to 19c database and directly installed fortify 22 and I could see the data. Is there anything I should worry about here ?
