I have a 9.2.7 eDirectory Tree
The replica ring consists of a Mater Replica of Root (OES 2018 SP3 / eDirectory 9.2.7) and 5 Servers with a Read/Write Replica.
The Master Replica Server when viewing ndstrace indicates issues with Obituarires, which is a continuous scrolling as seen in ndstrace.
This was observed after running the Migration Tool to perform an upgrade on the server and the CPU utilization was high. Specifically the ndsd daemon.
ndsrepair -T shows no errors with Time Sync
ndsrepair -E shows all servers in the replica ring up to date
ndsrepair -C -Ad -A on the master shows 17 obituary error indicating that they are purgeable
These obituary objects are in fact stale objects that no longer exist in the Tree
Only the Master Replica and 1 other of the Read/Write Replica servers show errors when running ndsrepair -C -Ad -A
Is this something that can be repaired by running a local database repair on those two servers, is this a Repair Replication Ring issue, or something that will required OpenText support hands on?
Been a long time since we have seen something like this so our knowledge base has got RUSTY.
Appreciate and thoughts and wisdom.
