This document references the support tool SLAnalyzer. For more information, see What is SLAnalyzer?
Warning: Setting a server back to factory defaults will delete all information on the server. It will be in the state of a new server and the original information cannot be recovered. If there is any doubt, first make sure you have a snapshot of the server.
This procedure can be performed on any server type. This would include web, db, or master servers. Be aware that when resetting a master server, the database will be reset and all user enrollments and other data will be removed. In the case of other server types, when navigating to the server, the process is the same as adding a new server to an existing cluster. After resetting a server from a cluster make sure that the cluster server configuration is cleaned up on the master server so replication will be able to succeed.
To reset a server back to factory defaults the tool SLAnalyzer can be used. The same process can be performed via the VM console or from an SSH session.
