Remove OTP from Desktop OTP Tool

Hello,

We used the Link enrollment option to auto-enroll an OTP authenticator within Desktop OTP Tool. It worked fine, but after we removed the OTP method from the Authenticators Management page, we were unable to remove the enrolled OTP in the Desktop OTP Tool.

This is the error we are getting:

After uninstalling and reinstalling the application, the enrolled OTP is still there, so I guess some user data is still present somewhere.

May I know how we can clean this deprecated data?

Regards,
Rodrigo

    Hello,

    Please try this:

On the workstation navigate to the users local profile.

    Example: C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\NetIQ\OTP Desktop Tool

There will be one or more files with just numbers... For example: 6868416f870630061b07215f4b1920b2

    Rename these files or delete.

    Let us know the result.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Luciano Testa
