Features and Benefits:

NetIQ Change Guardian from Micro Focus helps customers monitor critical files, systems, and applications in real time across hybrid environments to detect unauthorized privileged activity.

Version 6.1 includes features that enhance security event information so customers can identify malicious activity faster, and more convenient configuration capabilities. 

Event Enrichment

  • Added capabilities in process start event to provide parameter details.
  • Added parameter length to identify the malicious process.
  • Convert hex code to readable format.

Centralize SSL LDAP Management

  • Users can configure the SSL based LDAP connection from centralized console.

Flexible Reporting

  • New reporting capability to consolidate agent information from multiple Change Guardian servers.

Support for Appliance Installation in Hyper-V Environment

  • Users can install Change Guardian appliance 6.1 in Hyper-V 2016 and 2019. This release supports Hyper-V Generation 1 virtual machines.
