New Product Features

1. Improved List Settings Management:

The UPA UI now ensures proper configuration, display, and export of list settings, resolving previous inconsistencies.

2. Enhanced GPO Import Functionality:

• Importing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) with preferences is now more reliable, even when the PDC (Primary Domain Controller) was not previously used.
• Preference files associated with GPO imports are now correctly saved for future exports.

3. Alternate Credentials Support for AD Access:

• Users can now supply alternate credentials to access Active Directory (AD) for a specific domain.
• AD operations that utilize the PDC now correctly utilize the supplied alternate credentials, ensuring seamless functionality.

4. Targeted Domain Support for GetGlobalPolicy API:

• The GetGlobalPolicy API and the Get-UniversalPolicy PowerShell cmdlet have been enhanced to support specific domain targeting, eliminating previous failures.

5. Enhanced Handling of Merging Universal Policies:

• When merging two Universal Policies and selecting to keep duplicate settings, the UI now allows resolving those duplicates individually, providing better control and customization.

6. Improved Domain Import with Subdomains and OUs:

• Domain imports involving subdomains and parent-child domain structures with the same-named OUs no longer disrupt the OU hierarchy in the UI, ensuring accurate representation.

7. Proper View Type for Delegation Views:

• Delegation views for Repository OUs are now created with the correct view type, resolving access issues associated with delegation assignments.

8. Enhanced Delegation Actions and UI:

• Delegation of rights via OUs in a delegation view is now accurately reflected in the UI, enabling and disabling actions as per the granted rights.

9. Restart Efficient Gateway for Delegation Changes:

• Delegation assignment changes now take effect without requiring a full Gateway restart.
• Role cache is now properly updated, ensuring seamless delegation management.

10.Import and Set Flags for GPO Links:

• During domain import operations, the Enforced and Activate/Enabled flags for GPO links are now correctly imported and set on the links in the Repository, ensuring consistent behavior.

11.Time Zone Compatibility for Universal Policy Exports:

• The issue related to exporting Universal Policies to AD when the UI machine had a different time zone (UTC + x) has been resolved. Universal Policy
• export jobs now run smoothly, providing accurate results.

Operational Details:

The Standard Delivery method for our software is electronic. New orders receive a link via email where the software can be downloaded, which is specific to the order.
