Latest features available in CG 6.0 release come directly from our customers and partners!

We announced that Micro Focus has released NetIQ Change Guardian v. 6.0 in July.  See also announcement in community here, including some information about significant updates in 6.0.

A great number of the features available in this release come directly from our customers and partners interaction and voting in the Ideas Portal! In fact, 9 top Ideas were implemented in this 6.0 release:

  1. Minimize steps to review multiple events
  2. Line Gap required while showing delta difference in File integrity
  3. Support for EMC Isilon Appliance
  4. Change guardian should show EPS and BPS on its UI like Sentinel does.
  5. Need to be able to specify Alert fires every time, no consolidation
  6. Need to be able to create multiple Alert rules per policy
  7. Change Guardian for AD needs Hostname Information for AD changes
  8. Source hostname in Events
  9. Local user and group monitoring for Change Guardian for Windows
