cant installed package sentinel in rhel 8.5 python

i get error

error: Failed dependencies:
        python >= 2.6 is needed by novell-Sentineldb-RHEL-8.2.2.0-5415.x86_64

even though I have already installed python 2.7.18 in RHEL 8, the error still same.python

    SLM for IGA 8.2.2 is a really old version and RHEL 8.5 was never a supported/certified platform for it (I think it supported up to RHEL 7.9)  However, the installer is obviously expecting a particular version of python that isn't being provided.

    SLM for IGA is part of the Identity Manager (IDM) product set and support for RHEL 8.5 was introduced in IDM 4.8.5.  The version of SLM that was bundled with IDM 4.8.5 was SLM for IGA 8.5.0.1.  So, if you’re running RHEL 8.5 then you want to be installing at least SLM for IGA 8.5.0.1.

    It’s also worth noting that SLM for IGA 8.2.2 is out of support now.
