At our company, we have to rotate passwords periodically on all accounts. I would like a way to automate this process via command line. I would need the ability to update the account that is running the GPA Server (services and DCOM). I would also like to be able to update the Export Override Account, or any Untrusted Access Account passwords. I would like this to be via some sort of command line so that I can write some automation and not have to be in a GUI to reset the passwords.
You can now execute the "GPAServerConfig" command in GPA 6.9.2 to update the Export Only, Untrusted Access, and GPA Security accounts (including password change).
Yes, for the GPA server service (if DCOM can be updated as well). However, there are other accounts that have to be manually added to GPA when the password is reset such as Export Override and Untrusted Access (one for each domain). Are you addressing these as well by providing command-line executable.
Just clarify that the automated process to allow any TPAM products such as Dell One Identity or any other similar products to manage password change in Active Directory.
I would like to suggest the same thing as we have the same requirement in our organization. in addition, it would be a great idea to provide some automated process to allow Dell One Identity product to reset the password as this product is used to manage passwords in Active Directory.
