Attached are six files - in a ZIP file called Custom.zip - containing the customizations to the DRA 6.3 Web Console. (Note that these customizations are intended for DRA 6.3 ONLY! They will NOT function in DRA 6.02.) These customizations include:



* A checkbox has been added to the password reset page allowing an Assistant Admin to set the flag controlling whether a user must change his password the next time he logs on. The default setting for this flag is "on".


* A text field on the User Update page has been added allowing the expiration date for an account to be specified. "Tooltip" help has been included explaining that "Never" should be entered to specify that an account should not expire. "Tooltip" help can be exposed by resting the mouse pointer on the title of the account expiration text field.


* A checkbox on the User Update page has been added allowing an Assistant Admin to set the Enabled/Disabled status of the user account. (Be sure to delegate both the Powers to set the account "Enabled" AND "Disabled".)


These customizations have been tested in both NT4 and Win2K domains. Updates to the exposed comment and description fields also function as expected.




To install these customizations, perform the following steps.



1. Using the Services applet on the DRA server, stop the World Wide Web Publishing service. (DRA is effectively unavailable on this DRA server until this service is restarted!)


2. Rename the original versions of each of the six files as shown below:

C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserResetPasswordORIGINAL.asp



Rename C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserResetPasswordSubmit.asp to
C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserResetPasswordSubmitORIGINAL.asp



Rename C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserUpdate.asp to
C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserUpdateORIGINAL.asp



Rename C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserUpdateSubmit.asp to
C:\InetPub\wwwroot\DRAWeb\WebConsole\Scripts\UserUpdateSubmitORIGINAL.asp



3. Copy each of the attached files to the appropriate folder.



4. Start the World Wide Web Publishing service on the DRA server.




Please test these customizations in your test/development environment before you install them in production.
