The attached script must be associated with the ComputeCreate Operation. This trigger will assure that every computer name begins with the letter "L" and is followed by at least one digit. It can be used with both NT4 and Win2K domains. Assistant Admins can enter names beginning with either a lower case or upper case L. The trigger, however, will assure that all names begin with an upper case L.

This trigger can only be used as a Pre-Task trigger for "ComputerCreate".

Note that if the DRA MMC is used to create computer accounts, the computer list is NOT updated to reflect any case changes. This means that you need to use F5 or the Refresh icon to update the computer list to accurately display computer names.
