I'm thinking about enhancing the CLE (Client Login Extension) - so it will allow customers to decide how secure they wont the secure browser to be. My idea is to add extra features on the whitelist tab/page. It would be nice, if I could enable java applets and from a given URL in the same way I can with regular URL's. I also notice that I cant run java scripts from a whitelisted URL. That would also be nice to allow. If this is could be customized, then customers are not forced to make the secure browser less secure, but it allows customers with this particular need to decide for them self's, if the need is bigger than the higher security. I hope I make myself clear? Thanks in advance
As an example, I have a solution where I can look up your national identity- which can be done in a browser that launches a java applet. It's based on public/private keys, so you authenticate with you social security number and the belonging password. Then from a token, you provide the pin, and now I now who you are since you are looked up the national id database. Then I can look you up in eDirectory to perform a password reset on your account. But since I cannot allow the Java applet to run, this doesn't work. Therefore it would be nice to allow Java applets and scripts next to the URL's you define in the whitelist. Thanks in advance.
