LDAP directories are still very common and often used to store identity information. The amount of applications, that want to access these information from inside or outside are increasing more and more. LDAPS or definitely LDAP is not the protocol you want to use for external application to access your internal identity data. At the moment REST is the service, web application want to use to handle data. But how can you access data in a LDAP directory securely via REST? Seras opens your LDAP directory in a secure way to access the data via https using secure tokens with strictly limited services, offering only access to data you're allowed to see and operations you're allowed to execute.
