Using the Identities Name Filter on a Permissions Report

When creating a report definition, is the name filter only searching based on the CN value? For example I can search on the CN KEF and it will return
CN=KEF.OU=MIA5.OU=CRP.O=MWV

What I really want to pull back all accounts within OU=MIA5 (which would include KEF and many more accounts) so that they can be identified and selected for the report. Searching on MIA5 does not produce that result. Is there a wildcard, or another method that can be used, or does it only search within the CN attribute?
