2.6.1 Engine Won't Start

Can't seem get the engine to start after a fresh install. I'm guessing it has something to do with the license, but the line "Credentials "***Windows***" are not valid due to a missing account name, salt value or rights group." seems suspect as well. Saw some other posts that received replies suggesting there were some bugs relating to getting the engine to start and I've emailed filereporter@novell.com but haven't heard back yet. It's possible I'm being impatient, but I figured I'd post on here too in case it's not the same issue.

    I had the same issue and went back through the Engine configuration and in the section that asks for eDir Default Server Address I changed from a DNS hostname to IP address and that fixed it. I could ping the hostname from the NFR server but apparently the engine still did not like the DNS name.

    Cancel that. Now I'm getting this error: "Value does not fall within the expected range." It pops up when I attempt to start the web site.

    Fixed this. URL bindings were all screwy.
