An unspecified error

I have several volumes on an OES 11 cluster. I scan the volumes each week. When scanning one of the volumes we consistently get this error:

The scheduled data scan for storage path \\xxxxx\yyyy (Scan ID 446) was unable to complete. The following error occurred: (-1) An unspecified error has occurred. Maximum number of tries for this scan exceeded. Giving up.

All of the other volume scans complete without error. I am hoping someone can help. Thanks!
