NFR 2.5 for eDir on win2012r2 - constant logouts

Hi,

We have recently upgraded to 2.5 from 2.0.2.3 - everything went well during the upgrade, except that now I am constantly required to re-login while navigating the admin interface. It will let me open a few pages, but no matter what browser or computer, NFR will kick me out after a few page changes or starting a report preview. BTW the page navigation is also not exactly fast either....

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

    ablovatskia,

Could you send an email to filereporter@novell.com with a copy of these
    two files?

%ProgramData%\Novell\File Reporter\Engine\log\<the latest log file in
    this folder>

    C:\inetpub\srs_root\App_Data\logs\webui.log

We have had *one* other customer with this issue. For reasons we haven't
been able to determine yet, something is prompting IIS to cleanly and
quietly restart the NFR AppPool (i.e. the web client.) If it's okay with
you, we may send you a debug build of NFR 2.5.0 that puts more logging
into the webui.log file, to try to capture any exceptions that IIS is
    suppressing.

    Thanks for your help!

Thank you for the quick reply!

    Logs were sent to filereporter@novell.com

I have found that the server has Mcafee VSE 8.8 antivirus scanner on it, and just to see if it makes a difference, I have disabled the On-access Scan. This seems to have gotten rid of the logout problem, the interface speed issues, as well as the exceptions in the log file!

As the next step, I have added the following directory and sub-directory exceptions to the VSE:

    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\
    C:\inetpub\
    C:\ProgramData\Novell\File Reporter\

and enabled the On-access Scan without experiencing any problems.
