Installing NFR 2.01 on SBS 2008

Ran into issue right off the bat during installation - there was a warning during the NFR AppPool portion that there weren't enough permissions. I was installing using the Domain Admin account. Now during Engine install the error says it's unable to update the Web Application Pool c:\inetpub\srs_root\web.config.xml. So what gives?

Windows Small Business Server is not a supported platform for Novell
File Reporter. The minimum version of Windows Server supported for the
NFR Engine is Server 2008 R2; you can also run the Engine on Windows
Workstation 7 and Windows Workstation 8, though performance will be
somewhat degraded given the different OS optimizations between Server
and Workstation.
