NFR 2.5 - Database grow - hands on for maintence

Hello,

I manage a NFR 2.5 installation on Windows platform. It is a small installation with some servers with shares, running jobs and a really small part of reports. I see in this installation, the postgresql database grow and grow and grow. The postgresql system need 35 GB file space.

Is there no task to shrink or delete old entries? No autovacuum active on the postgres system to manage the NFR database? I found no information in handbook or documentation for a guideline to manage the postgresql NFR installation.

Have a reader on this forum a guideline to manage the NFR installation? Or is the only way to extend the filespace??

Thanks for support

    Hi,

thanks for the response. I do nothing in standard mode! Ok, I will read postgresql documentation and build some jobs to vacuuming the database.

My hope was to find some hints in documentation, knowledge base ... which tables are the important ones.

    Best regards
    Michael
