Group searching on other attributes - not just description

Group searching only allows for searches based on description. Should allow the ability to search on more attributes such as CN.

YES! And the same for users. We should be able to customize this, and select the attributes to be searched (and the values to be displayed)

So Group in particular is a pain point. On the one hand, the UA/IDApps UI does not allow Group creation without a description, but on the other, eDir schema allows it.
A simple approach might be, that naming attribute (CN usually, but OU= or o= in some cases) ought to be included in the search.
At the moment groups without a description are invisible to ID Apps. Which is not helpful.
It seems like the DALs Search flag out to be used as a general rule. I.e. Honour the DAL.

Need additional information on specific use cases and whether or not this pertains to all "Entities".
