Situation

Scans under specific circumstances can become stuck in a running state and not respond to requests to pause or cancel the scan.

 

Cause

This can be caused by scans that run too long and exhaust the memory available on the sensor. This can happen due to the crawler of the sensor crawling infinitely because of redundant page detection not being enabled or a max crawl limit not being set.
