This spotlight is highlighting Giuseppe Salvato, Director of Product Management for Fortify Platform & Integrations. We are lucky to have Giuseppe representing Fortify and are excited to share a couple fun facts to help you get to know him!

Q: Where did you grow up?

              A: Italy (Rome)

Q: How long have you been with Fortify and how did you find Fortify?

A: Almost a year (joined on 6/22/2021). I’ve been found by our recruiters as I was previously in the application security testing space with a competitor, as well as in cybersecurity with different companies.

Q: What do you do at Fortify?

A: I’m Director of Product Management for Fortify Platform and Integrations. My team and I are responsible for the growth and success of our Fortify on Demand (FoD), Software Security Center and Tools products.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Fortify?

A: Definitely the Fortifiers, including all the energy that makes us successful and sets us up for more and bigger wins.

Q: What is your proudest work accomplishment so far?

A: Empowering a team of new product managers with the knowledge and support necessary to be strong professionals in their role, and see the results reflected in the increasingly improving product portfolio.

Q: What would you like to accomplish at Fortify?

A: Bring our product suite to the next level and reach the peak of the mountain, which is clearly visible and achievable.

Q: If you could do another job for a day, what would you do?

A: I would be an astronomer observing distant planets and galaxies with a very powerful telescope.

Q: What is a hidden talent you have?

A: I tend to have talent and passion for growing and improving things, including plants, tropical fish, home projects and of course software.

Q: What is your favorite family tradition?

              A: Outdoor activities, such as hiking and snorkeling in tropical places or skiing at Tahoe.

Q: Favorite childhood memory?

              A: Nature walks with my father and grandfather.
