Summary

Situation
After uninstalling the old version of the Arcmc, attempt to install a fresh/higher version resulted in the error
"Platform initializers fail............check /opt/arcsight/.............../logger_init_driver.log for details".

This is peculiar to both Arcmc and Logger.

Resolution
-Make sure that after uninstalling, manually delete the ~/userdata directory
-If the error is encountered, 1st make sure the root user owns the ~/userdata directory.
-if issue persist, uninstall/reinstall the OS and proceed with fresh installation of the arcmc/logger.
