Can't start ./runagentsetup after connector installing

Hello, guys, I need your help.

In CentOS after installing SmartConnector and running ./runagentsetup the process of connector configuration stops at this point:

Assuming ARCSIGHT_HOME: /home/user/ArcSightSmartConnectors/current
Assuming JAVA_HOME: /home/user/ArcSightSmartConnectors/current/jre

ArcSight Agent Setup starting...

Connector Setup Wizard starting in mode [CONSOLE]
[Wed Jun 05 18:29:35 EEST 2024] [INFO ] Checking for a running instance of connector...

Hello, Daniel

I have two virtual machines with CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core) and on both I use ArcSight-8.4.4.9261.1-Connector-Linux64.bin On one machine everything is fine, but on the second it’s not.

To give a little background, I’m just learning to use ArcSight and connectors. Initially, everything was fine on both machines, I installed and then removed connectors several times, and at some point on one of the machines the process of starting the connector setup stopped working.

Hello Bohdan,

... and how many connectors do you have running on the machine that you can not run "runagentsetup" command?
