SmartConnector ver 7.6

Hi,

Just want to ask if SmartConnector ver 7.6 is still supported by ArcSight? I'm trying to upgrade it to a newer version but somehow it always end up as failed. I did the upgrade via ArcMC. It seems the there's an OS upgrade requirement first before I can upgrade it to latest supported version.

Please confirm.

    Hi Aqui,

    I assume you are trying to upgrade 32bit-connectors which are unsupported in newer versions and therefore not included anymore. (have a look in the Release Notes: https://community.microfocus.com/t5/ArcSight-Connectors/ct-p/ConnectorsDocs )

    To move to 64bit, you need to backup each connector via ArcMC, install again with 64bit and use the restore feature to get the configurations back.

    Then, the in place upgrade will work again.
