I worked a short time with the product.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can not describe in detail. How will information and try to describe it.

That would be great. The issue I have is why we need to buy it when I think it should be a part of the overall product. In other words. What is going to save me money when I have people doing this already.

Great point Christian.  I will also add, it would be nice to have this functionality for ESM not just Connectors.

    I deploy Management Center(MC) on my infrastructure (4 – logger appliance(LA), 16 – connector appliance(CA)).

At first I faced with the problem: for connect CA to MC I need update him to current version (6.4.0 SP3). After update all work good and I connect all my servers to MC. When I try get configuration I encountered a problem: before get configuration needed configure backup on CA and LA. It is made of one piece of the console. First you create config, then deploy him to CA or LA.

Settings LA I was very disappointed. Not forwarders, not devices. Only receivers and system settings (NTP, DNS and other).

Settings CA disappointed also. You may deploy only syslog connector (to many CA).

But very good see all CA, Containers and Connectors in one screen.

And i have problem when i try deploy users. MC informed me that field password not may be blank. Although I got this from an active server configuration.

When i try add logger i see error, all field empty but LA added.

So you have gotten farther than we have... We have FW's that we have to go through so we asked for ports needed.  Well this was not very well documented and thus we are working that all out.  We have a lot of high hopes (especially for the price tag we paid.  I should be able to monitor and manipulate all our CONNAPPS, their Containers, and the connectors within them.  The way I have been hearing and seeing it, we are paying the price for purchasing 1.0 of a product.

With all that said I have faith.

Going through it and testing the product out as well.

All you need is a rule from arcmc to the Conapp on 443 and on 9001-9008 for the Containers

I'll hold my tongue on passing judgement at this point as this is still a 1.0 initial release, but 2.0 will be coming out fairly soon and should have a lot of improvements.
