I am very excited to announce that Micro Focus Security ArcSight Data Platform (ADP) 2.2 is now Generally Available (GA).
The ADP 2.2 suite release includes updated software versions of:
• ArcMC 2.7
• Event Broker 2.1
• Logger 6.5
• Connector Framework 7.7
The new features include:
- Instant Connector Deployment, Deployment View, Deployment Templates and Job Manager delivered through the UI of ArMC,
- (Public Alpha feature * ) Syslog Collector and Syslog Connector in Event Broker
- Support for TLS 1.2, Kafka version update in Event Broker,
- Security Fixes, Archiving with Indexes, search query reports, ADP Logger standalone mode in Logger
- SmartConnector Framework 7.70
* Note: Connectors in Event Broker (CEB) and all related functionality, including Collectors, are provided as non-production public alpha features. These features are provided for your testing and evaluation only and should not be considered fully functional, nor are they supported by HPE Support, nor are they guaranteed to be available in the product in the future. Consult the ArcMC Admin Guide, and directions from the ADP product team, for best practices and guidance on how to use these features. CEB and Collectors should not in any circumstances be used in a production environment. We welcome questions, comments, and feedback on these features.
