Presenter: Mark Diers, North Dakota University Systems
The North Dakota University Systems (NDUS) colleges and universities communicate over a statewide network and most applications in the past were housed in two in‐state datacenters.
Due to the advent of SaaS applications such as Blackboard, DocuSign, Odin (Library systems) and web applications such as Microsoft O365, it became necessary to have a fallback in case the statewide network went down.
NDUS was tasked to come up with a solution to have SSO authentication fail over to Azure. We will cover how we managed to get NetIQ Access Manager/Identity Manager and Active Directory up in the cloud and allow a network failover when the statewide network is down.
The draft agenda for the main conference can be found HERE and you may register for the Conference HERE. We are waiting on a few minor updates to the agenda and the online files will be updated as soon as we have them.
Attendance at the weekend workshops is not dependent on you attending the full conference week and these require a separate registration using this LINK.
Some of the sessions during the conference week will be shared online, but not all of them. Those registering to attend online will receive full details the week before the event.
