RADIUS - Packet does not contain required Message-Authenticator attribute

Hi everyone,

We are configuring a CyberArk as a RADIUS Client for authentication against Advanced Authentication RADIUS server.

After some initial tests, we are getting this error message:

“Error: Receive - Insecure packet from host 10.99.132.66: Packet does not contain required Message-Authenticator attribute. You may need to set "require_message_authenticator = no" in the configuration”

Does anybody know how this can be set in Radius configuration within the Advanced Authentication server?

Hello,

Correct, the option is now under Policies -> Radius Options -> Adding Clients. Before it was manually set.

By default is set to ON for new configurations.
